Thursday 26.09 newly established Bergen Shipoperators Association hosted its first event in the office of G2Ocean. Stig Tenold professor of maritime economics and history of NHH gave a presentation about the development of the maritime power in Bergen from 1900 till today. After the presentation we continued the evening with social mingling at Clarion Admiral for which great finger-food was served.

 Approx. 17 companies (shipowners/operators) attended with their representatives from operations, in total we were 35 people. 

Last but not least we would like to thank our host G2Ocean represented by VP Global Operation Phil Curran for the use of their  auditorium and Stig Tenold for making time in a busy period giving us a great presentation about the maritime economic history. Furthermore we would like to thank all the companies attending for the positive response we have gotten in the Bergen Shipping Community so far.
